Changes to the 2021 COVID-19 Support Packages

The 2021 COVI-19 packages continue to be available for those businesses that have suffered a reduction in turnover of at least 30%  or those who do not qualify as a business but have suffered a reduction in hours of work of at least 8 hours per week.

If your business has more recently suffered a reduction in turnover, rather than from the very beginning of the latest lockdown,  the Job-Saver or Micro-business Support packages are available to you.

For those already enrolled in the Job-Saver or Micro-business packages the conditions  have now changed and you are required to confirm your eligibility to continue receiving the payment every two weeks.  To confirm please log in to your Service NSW account and you will be directed to confirm.  The two things you are required to confirm are the number of employees that you continue to have employed (for JobSaver only) and that your turnover has continued to experience a reduction of at least 30%.  The comparison period to determine your reduction MUST be the same choice as you used in your initial enrolment (either 2019, 2020 or 2021) but updated for the current fortnight.   

If you fail to satisfy the continued reduction of 30% in your turnover you will be suspended from the program.  It has not yet been indicated whether you will be able to make further declarations if your turnover decreases  again, whether you need to re-enrol or whether your enrolment in the program is terminated.
